Silence Among the Driftwood emerged from the long shadows of the Georgia coast. For years, the image of those grey, twisted trees on Jekyll Island stayed with me, whispering a story of buried secrets and a tide that refuses to keep them. This novel is my homage to the Southern Gothic tradition - a slow-burn mystery where the setting itself is a character, as old and scarred as the land itself.
